Luke J. Collins is a Writer, Director and DOP working in the UK. In the last three years he has won short film commissions for "Cappuccino" (Channel 4 - Random Acts) for which he was writer/director - and most recently short film "Swiped" (BBC New Creatives) starring Will Merrick, which Luke wrote, directed and DOP’d. 
In 2020 Luke was awarded an RTS Midlands award, in the “Off-Screen Breakthrough” category, for his cinematography across several BBC short films.

Luke has produced and DOP'ed several short films for the BBC over the last 12 months, all of which are soon to be aired across BBC channels. As well as this, he shot and directed 2 TVC's for Grenade and The Great British Porridge Company, airing on Sky and ITV.

Luke has also worked in a TV environment, directing, shooting and editing automotive content for "Only Motors." Luke's first major commission was as cinematographer for features documentary "Generation Falone" - a doc funded by the EU, exploring Sicily's ever evolving relationship with the Mafia.
